Ken Anderson
Owner, Anderson's Famous Painting Co.

Ken began painting his way through college in the late 70's. Since he grew up in Bedford, New York, he worked primarily throughout Westchester County, New York and into Stamford and Greenwich, CT. He is a 1979 graduate of Loyola College in Maryland with a BA in Business Administration where he was listed among Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. He worked primarily in the health insurance and economics industry up to the opening of his current painting business in Baltimore in early 1992. He spent a short time working for Sherwin Williams and MAB Paints, where he recognized a need for a high caliber professional painting company in the residential market place. In 1994, he renamed his business to reflect the reputation his business enjoys.

Ken has been married to the former Wendy Beamish of Timonium since 1980. He has three fantastic and "famous" children: Charlie, Emily & Danny. In 1974, Ken received his Eagle Scout award. Also, Ken was recognized by the Governor as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Marylanders in 1989 for his accomplishments in civic and professional arenas. Also in 1988, he was listed in Outstanding Young Men of America. As a member of the Maryland Jaycees, he was invited to the Executive White House to meet President Reagan. In 1999, he began to serve as the President of the local PDCA chapter.

It is his belief that people look for a painting contractor who is considerate of others, concerned with the quality of his workmanship and who enjoys a reputation of honesty and integrity.

Ken's current interests include skiing, camping, reading and spending time with his family.
