Back to Job Sites Click on a photo to view an enlarged version. Job Scope: A second story was added to an Adirondack camp house. Harsh winters required a high quality finish coat that would provide years of protection. Notes: After the second story was built, it was left for three years before being stained. We scraped the old previously painted first floor siding and spot primed bare areas to ensure consistent texture. We pressure washed and sanded off all the dead and weathered fibers off exposed unfinished siding prior to applying two topcoats of stain. An additional hazard was experienced by nasty black flies that were ferocious little biters! We had to do all the work wearing head nets, long sleeved shirts, jackets, and plenty of bug spray. Paint Used: Sherwin Williams Woodscapes Solidcolor Acryllic Stain for the siding and Superpaint for the trim. . |
